The 19 th Century Dr. Bugeja Caruana hall follows a yet larger hall bequested by the same donor. The new space inaugurated April 2026 conserves a collection of a 19-century portrait gallery other maritime and miscellaneous pictures. This space exhibits a collection of silver and nostalgic jewellery with generations of inheritance.
The Project of the permanent exhibition of the 18 th Century Neapolitan Crib was envisioned by its donor and prepared over a space of 3 years. After a full scale initiative of restoration, mounting, cataloguing and architectural layout the Crib was inaugurated in December 2025.
